WHOs INSURANCE WILL GO UP?
If my friend let me drive his car and i hit a car.. and the owner of the car taht was hit filed a claim on his insurance..
whos insurance gonan go uop?

THIS is why i say the driver should be insured for liability and the car should have the option of being covered fully. This way, since YOU crashed the car, your liability insurance would increase, not your friends. INSURE THE DRIVER NOT THE CAR!!!
it should come back to you. I had a similar experience I guess. My friend was driving my car, and got pulled over for speeding. His insurance picked the ticket up. He was fined. I never saw anything.
and his rates went up later.

It likely depends on your state's laws. Here in Texas, I believe that the driver would have his insurance tapped first, then any claims in excess of his coverage would fall to the vehicle owner.
It's sort of weird here -- liability really follows the driver, but the state requires that the driver be assigned to a vehicle, so an individual car ends up on a policy, insured for liability. I think that there is a provision for a non-owner's policy, where an individual can get coverage, liability-only, to drive any vehicle, whether that vehicle is listed on an insurance policy or not.

I bet both go up. Your friends will go up because his insurance will pay for the damages to both his car and the other drivers and yours will go up because you will have a chargeable accident on your liscense as well as any tickets the cop decides to give you. If you do get any tickets goto court and fight them you might be able to get them reduced to no point tickets. But yeah I bet both insurances go up.

It depends on what state you are in. In FL, I'm pretty sure YOUR insurance will go up, as every driver is required to have insurance. You technically can only drive someone's car if YOU have insurance, legally anyway...
