Paint Swirls

Hey,

I just bought a new EL a couple months ago and I have already managed to swirl up the paint already. Does anyone have any remedies to get rid of the swirls and how to avoid them in the future?

Welcome and congrats on your purchase. Swirl marks usually result from whatever cloth you're using being too abrasive, or you're wiping the car down with some miniscule particles of dirt on it. IMO swirl marks are inevitable - they're gonna happen sooner or later. To get rid of swirl marks permanently, you may have to get them buffed out. To minimize their appearance, most people use a product like Meguiars ScratchX then apply wax over top. The latter method is much cheaper, but will need to be repeated whenever you wax your car.
