I know what your trying to do, because your home made pipe, is what I have, but custom piping professionally done and bent. But, I also have a h20 bypass valve. Trust me, when your bogging caus of the water your motor is sucking up, your going to take that off right away.

that bypass valve only works if the filter is more than 3/4 submerged under water....doesn't really matter for little splashes....water still isn't good for the engine, but that bypass valve is useless in my eyes.....
