I hope you know also that PVC isn't the best stuff when it gets hot. The fumes are highly toxic if the PVC gets hot enough. Just plain stupid if you ask me.

IMO it looks OK. Maybe if you used an abs plastic pipe & got some silicone elbows (instead of duct tape) & hose clamps it , might look a little less gheto fab. Oh and paint the pipe same color as you sri.

Why do i have a feeling he is going to build a turbo.
Maybe out of pvc pipes with a computer case fan.

ok ok ok, heres my review. the intake I LOVE IT. the car feels alot more torquier. im actually gettin cold air in. as for the fog light cover, i didnt remove it. i just left it still on. it still werks fine. yeah i have rain in mind. but still got sum time to werk out the bugs u know. this was all put together in one night. i just got the crazy idea and drove to home depot and made it. i still need to full proof it. lol. as for the duct tape holdin out....trust me. it has ALOT OF DUCT TAPE. it will hold. its strong enought to tow a car. and as for it heating up... ud be surprised how cool is stays. even after hard driving, it was cold. didnt warm up. i touched the red part, wich is aluminum i think and that burning hot. so no melt down detected. hmm what else did u guys ask..?? not sure ill reread the posts. got anymore questions??

recap.
intake kix ***. more torque felt at earlier and later rpms. more torque through out. i like it alot, and its still holdin together...

bypass valves are the biggest thing made by any company, ive had my cold air for 3 years now and my car has been in deep puddles and unless you pretty much submerge the whole pipe you arent goin to hydrolock your motor. as for the intake to each his own and props on being different

Dude the pvc pipe is not good under the hood. Problems waiting to happen. Running a heater hose wrapped in heat resistant material would be alot better.

Here is a pic of an exaust to go with your intake:

All of that work and you probably lost hp rather than gained anything. My opinion, since you asked for opinions and all, is that it is very ghetto and crappy and is doing nothign to help performance but probably hurting it. Companies spend lots and lots of time researching, developing, and testing products. If getting HP was as easy as slapping some pipe and tape together than companies would go under. Oh, and lose the K&N, they are junk.

No thanks...I can make my own! This is an intake I had to make for my old 90 hatchback. I did not have stock so I made this one out of pvc pipe and used the K&N off of my Injen intake on my 2001 since I replaced that with an Apexi. I would of used the stock stuff but I did not have it and this was cheaper. LMAO I felt no gains and felt dumb to pop my hood around anyone. LOL

Would look hot if pipes weren't sticking out da back
maybe some mesh over the wholes and a smaller exhaust and
bang
instant hidden exhaust system

You'll probably shoot flames out the tail
