Talking What can I paint? I need paint!!

Ok, I've always been a fan of painting stuff. I even thought about painting my hub caps...! (black) Don't laugh! Hey, when you can't afford rims why not?!

Anyway, since I might make my wheels look like crap what else can I paint? I thought about painting the intake pipe blue because I am going with that theme eventually. Right now it's just chrome. I also want to paint or tape more things blue in my engine, don't ask me why... I like blue I guess.

If I do start to paint stuff what type of paint should I use in the engine? Some of these pipes get hot! Also, do they make any kind of electrical tape in colors?? That would be cool.

I started to clean my engine tonight and it looks soooo much better. I have about 84k and never touched it so you can imagine! I still need to get some Simple Green though. The engine block and some of the other components look pretty bad and I am not sure they will even come clean. It looks like years of salt and grime has discolored the engine and anything metal. Bummer. I'll take some pics and post. My hoses look much better but the metal stuff is a challenge I can see.

I want to tape my hoses with blue electrical tape. What do you all think? And, I want to paint stuff blue too! Like the valve cover area where it has the "V-Tec" printed on the plastic. What kind of paint should I use on that to make it nice and shiny??

Ok, enough for now... too much coffee... sorry!

I am getting the CF dash kit off Ebay. It has a lot of stuff with this kit. My interior will be CF, black, and the factory tan. I think this will look sharp. My head unit glows a nice blue and I will add some blue LED's/Neons later to add some more light. The engine I want to highlight with blue as well. I didn't want to paint any interior stuff because of the kit I am getting. I was just looking for mainly advice on what type of paint to use for engine part. Plastic, aluminum, chrome, etc.

Don't tape your hoses, and you can always paint the spark plug cover and the fuse box cover. Though I don't know how it'll go with the CF, tan and black... Might be too busy, least in blue

Hmmm, washer nozzle. Well, the exterior of my car I want to have black and tan. I am going to get CF parts like mirrors and tail lights though but everything else will be black/tan. Like I said, my rims will be black, probably gunmetal when I do get some. I am only going with some color under the hood.

Save up money and make your car fast. Don't waste your time and money on shitty mods. There are way too many ricers out there, we don't need more.
