seeing how much money u have in ur sig the best option would be to swap in a k20a2 from the rsx-s cuz an ep3 would run u the same and boosting a the dmotor would still not get u as much power as a k20a2 would if u swap that in...just my 2 cents...do the k20a2 swap...if that too expensive than boost ur coupe

I have problems from time to time. But I also run 12-14psi whne my mind goes numb. I dyno'd at 10psi and made 231whp. So figure 10whp for each psi and I was making at least 250whp at 12psi. Add back the 15-20% drive loss and I made a shiet load of power at the crank.

Yeah I blow headgaskets like others blow out candles. But I didnt put on a turbo to be average. I can smoke most allmotor cars. I have beat a B18 hatch, a GSR, Mustang GT, Eclipse GS-T, etc....
I got beat by a modded Camero SS. But damn he has a 5.7l engine. That is 4.0 bigger than mine.

You can boost at 7psi all day with no problems. Just buy a used SF kit bolt it on and call it a day. Just dont crank it up to 12psi and expect to be safe about it.

250 @ 12psi?

Jesus. . . I'm only laying down 256 @ my stock 15-16psi. And I've got .8 liters of displacement on you. Just doesn't sound right.

Here is my dyno when I tuned at 10psi. I did not push it on the dyno. But at the track I cranked it up a couple more psi. So Do the math and I know I came close to the 250whp mark.

I dynod stock at around 98whp. 10psi of boost made about 130whp over stock. add two more psi and you got a total above 250.

Here is my dyno:

I'll answer this for me personally. I just want a car that hauls *** for a daily driver. So i think a turbo with 5-7psi would do me fine. Does anyone know how turbos are in the winter? Obviously i live in a colder climate being from edmonton.

For looks, EM2, for performance EP3.

For what I'm into, I'd much rather have the new Civic Si than my 02 Civic EX. Im boosted, have very little problems, but the support for the K series is overwhelming.

If you're budgeted though, then keep you car and boost it, it's tons of fun lol

The title of the thread is Turbo Coupe or Civic Si.

Based on that, I would say why would you settle for 125whp from the Si?
Yeah the Si has a K20 DOHC. But stock non-turbo is weak. You could spend like $4,000 for a Greddy Turbo Kit or a Supercharger and make 200-300whp.

If you already have a D17 find a used turbo kit for arround $2,500, bolt it on and you can double the base hp of your car with no problems. 200whp can be made it about 7-8psi with the right tuning. 250whp is possible on stock internals and I will prove it soon. As soon as I get my built block I will see what the stock engine can hold.

The jacksonracing website says diff. I dont think you are making 165whp, when the supercharged version is only makeing 175whp w/ intake, exhaust, etc..
