lost another one.........
lost another one.........
Well on Friday Wednesday I got my car out of impound $998.00 and decided it was time to give up my baby. So I traded in my civic for 2004 dodge ram 1500 HEMI ®. I was wondering if any of you knew any good dodge or even truck forums?

nope on my way home from work on a friday car in 4th gear (always cops so trying to keep the noise down) "The Concord police department is investigating accusations that one of its officers racially targeted and illegally detained dozens of Latino motorists in May and June. The incidents have inflamed community anger against police."

My dad recently got one of those rams. I love his truck! He had a regular 1500 before, the Hemi is sooo much better..Of course I'd still drive the crossfire over the truck anyday.
Yea, cops do target nice rides. I've talked to many people about cops pulling them over for silly little things and then they inspect their cars to find what's not legal and will sometimes tow the car on the spot! It suks, I know but what can you do. They can do that kind of crap yet let those Harley's drive up and down the street all night that are waaayyyyy louder than anything we can put on our cars. What a bunch of crap. I think some laws need to be changed. How about loud motorcycles?? Lawnmowers?? Trains?? Airplanes?? Semi Trucks?? I know for a fact those things are louder than most aftermarket exhausts!
Ok, ... I'm done. Just venting...

^^ yep!
last week, me and my fiancè were driving to Ocean City (beach). we were doing 70mph, but keeping up with the flow of traffic. the posted speed limit was 55mph. out of nowhere, this MD State Trooper freakin run/jumps out into traffic and is waving his arms in the air, telling us to pull over. he was doing laser on the side of the road, behind a telephone pole. the pole is brown and so is their uniform, so it all blended in and we never saw him. my fiancè has a radar detector, but the bitch failed us. lol
there was a truck next to us going faster than we were and the trooper didn't pull him over. when we got pulled over, a guy in front of us was pulled over at the same time. he was with the fire department, so the officer let him go! such bullshit, but I know that's how they are.
the only reason we can figure we were picked out of the pack of cars we were driving with (just random cars on the highway........chevy's, toyota's, etc) was because he did not have his front licsense plate attatched to the bumper (which is a law in the state of MD). he has this "WRX" face plate kinda thing there instead. but he still had the plate in the front window. the trooper probably thought that we were out of state. he gave him a warning for that, but normally it would've been a $55 fine. he's had the front plates off since February ( 6-7 months now) and PLENTTTYYY of cops has had to have noticed it and never said anything. MD State Troopers have nothing better to do than sit there and pull people over sometimes for no reason.
county police officers don't have time for little things like that. so i guess that's why we've been able to slide by.

i hate driving through concord/walnutcreek area...at least during night time. down on main street if you pass through the street i think more than 3 times in a night you'll get a ticket. i just have my friends drive if i go over there.

in Phoenix they will give you 1000's in tickets, but wont impound anything. White is minority here, so they dont discriminate lots of times. I have cops pull me over, give me warnings for stupid things, say nice car, than leave. I have 2 kids in my car most the time (golden ticket
). One of my friends had about 900 in fines for tint, exhaust, and bunch of other bull. The cops impounded my dads car after he got shot. That was BS, cuz he had hospital fees, plus impound fees, plus bulletholes in his window and seat to fix. And it was the cops fault he got shot! Pigs suck
