You are a freakin' genious... I love the "false floor" concept; i.e.: raising the level of the trunk to allow for more volume in your sub box. Can't wait to see the finished product!
And that MODIFIED BY TELLY graphic kicks ***....

New pics from yesterday - my girlyfriend (IntegraKitten from Speedbump.info) came to my house in the midst of a family party and cut out another hole. I used a router to cut out a little ledge, and then she did up the upholstery on the false floor piece:
Hard at work:

Fobby kitten pose (her hair looks like GoGo from Kill Bill)...teach you to go to some old Korean woman to cut your hair eh?

The secret - electrical tape and pillow stuffing

Hammering down the staples

Oooooo:

Industrious kitten doesn't waste ANY material

Almost done!

Like always
Okay, so I still don't love the lettering, it looks fine put all together. I doubt I would have still put the Modified by part in there, maybe just the name.
BTW, nice pictures of your car from the D&B meet. So tempting to copy into my civic - but so not worth it from my eyes at the moment (<- hating my ride).
Props on a wicked homemade false floor though.

Yes man, get 2 9" red neons and put them up top in between the stock speakers facing down, it will light up the entire trunk, that's what i've got but in blue, then get some nice red leds and find some nice spots on the bottom to put them. My audio is getting ripped out as we speak. But i may have a few more surprises when i get it back, he he he...

I do have some slight reservations about it, but it is still an awesome set-up - better than I'd ever be able to do myself

^^^ha ha, who me? I do have the worst luck....fawking people are out to get me...I have to rip mine out so the body shop can pull the frame on my car...grr.....Telly, get some red leds and put them in there somehow, maybe under that plexi section or something, pointing up. Just don't have them up top on your parcel shelf facing down, they'll look like ***, cuz they point in specific areas only, the neons are better for up top.

Great job on it man.. wish we could have seen it at the meet
