Terminate Lease.......

Hey Guys.

Last June I leased a 2003 Civic EX Sedan. I put nothing down and got 1.9% financing so the car is only $260 a month. It was a good deal for me at the time but I want an Si now. The car already has over 22K on it after a year and I was wondering if anyone had terminated a lease that early before?

Whatever you owe will just carry over to your next car bill.

It depends on who the lease is thru and how it is worded. From what I understand, Honda leases always allow for early trade up/in if you get another Honda. Otherwise they get you with big charges if you just want out of the lease.

Be sure to read the lease well before signing obviously. And watch out for the speed limit clauses in your lease, same as with rented cars.
