well I would say start by looking at your warranty first and seeing what it covers. Then you can ask questions such as a CAI? will it void my warranty or if the dealer puts it on its covered. Some dealerships will do this, anything that deals with engine swap, forced induction, or internal parts other than OEM generally voids your warranty.

No one product will void your entire warranty. But if you modify or replace a part, you have effectively voided the warranty for that part. As well, say you bring in your car for a warranty repair; if your dealer can prove that a certain part caused the problem, then they can deny your warranty work and thus charge for the repair. The onus is on the dealer to prove it though. They can't void your engine warranty just cause you lowered the car, for example.

You should ask the dealer what the parts will void your warranty because the got pissed when we installed a Injen Intake on my friends intake even though it wasn't what caused the problem.
