Question Did you buy a civic in May '02 ??

I'm looking for the interest rate Honda was using for a 3 year loan in May of 2002 because its almost time for me to finish paying off my car from my parents. They had the extra cash and why not give them the money instead of Honda? Anyways, I actually forgot what the interest rate they were using back then was. It was either 0.9 or 1.9 for a 3 year loan. Anyone remember because it could be the difference of a couple hundred bucks to me. Thanks.

It's going to be different from dealership to dealership and what bank you got the loan from and how much you got the loan for and how long of a loan. You'll have to be looking at your paperwork for the interest rate.

This is an example,

if you financed $10,000 at 1.0%, you would end up paying $10,154 after 3 years. The same amount at 2.0% you would end up paying $10,311. Those are really low interest rates in my opinion.

I thought that the interest rates were the same nation wide. I financed $14600 at a 3 year loan at about $450 per month. The difference between the rates is about $200 in the end and I'd rather keep that if the rate was the 0.9%. I don't have the paperwork because my parents just gave me the loan instead of directly from Honda. My dumas just forgot what that rate was. 1.9 or 0.9 I could call a Honda dealer too...
