I was just reading through the latest Honda Tuning that landed on the door stop and they were talking about the Fit which is rumored to land here in the states this fall. I was just wondering what evereyone thought of it. Companies are already kicking out the aftermarket stuff for it but i don't see it being a racer because it is more of a minivan but could be a good platform for a show car.

^13K, are you sure? So what will happen to the Civic, will the price of them go up?
I would think that it would compete with the Aveo and start around 9K.

the 5zigen crew did a nice job on theres, but yea it is still a minivan and HT says that throught the article many times. The custom intake on that thing is worth checking out.
But it seems that there is a new brand strategy being hatched at honda motor corp., everything carring the honda badge is becoming boring low grade vehicles, and no longer carry the great name that once did, espically the accord. Then they put all of these great cars out under the acura line.
Thoughts?

^ I think the new Accord lacks looks, I mean looks like a dam Jelly Bean.
Honda is becoming what they always wanted to be in the U.S. A low price car, economical, and reliable.

Yep, I can already hear it now, my fiance is going to want one bad. She loves all those little cars, like the metro, cooper, this thing has the same kindof look and appeal that those cars have.
I wouldn't say they're out of ideas, I just think they have a "model look" that seems to be good with the trend of all the other vehicles at the moment and want to stick with it.
There's no point trying to innovate a vehicle design that just came in to fashion a few years ago. I'm not expecting production cars to look remarkabilty(sp?) different for a another 3 - 5 years
