Please Use Your Turn Signals !!!

I'm sick and tired seeing A LOT of drivers not using their turn signals. When you don't use turn signals, you put you and other people in risk of getting into a collision. That's why there are turn signals, it's to let other drivers know where you are going. I mean, sure it's alright not to use turn signals if there aren't any cars that's around you but, other than that, please use your damn turn signals! Thank you fer listening (just needed to vent).

I'm not strict about turnsignals either; ie. I wouldn't care if you're 5 car lengths ahead and switch lanes without signalling because there's less traffic

Then there are drivers who weave in and out of traffic. You should excuse these guys for not signalling because it's one less thing they have to focus on, like dodging cars while racing some other car. Besides, they're probably not going to be in that lane for that long anyways. They may as well just leave their hazards on, because that's what they are :P

It only pisses me off when there's mild traffic and you do that. It's like you're cutting the person off on purpose.

And if you're turning off a bussy street, use signals. It saves the guy behind you some brainpower. He may not no why you're slowing down until you brake hard to turn and then he would have rearended you by then

its ok when people don't use their turn signals when they are switching lanes as stated above, but i hate it when they don't use their turn signals for turning into a parking lot or something or they forget and leave them on for the next 30 miles.

like today, i was trying to pull out of the in n out parking lot after lunch and i'm waiting to pull out but theres this guy coming down the street with no turn signal on and then he pulls into the parking lot and makes me miss my chance to get out of the parking lot and i have to wait like 5 minutes for another chance. That pisses me off. that or when they have their turn signal on but then they don't turn into the parking lot and keep going.

I always use mine and keep them controled. In other words, I use them to move in a turn lane, turn off while waiting, and turn back on when the light changes. I also don't leave them on and forget that they're on. Some people still can't learn this part of driving.

Turn signals are good. They tell other people your intentions. They're there for a reason, they should be used. They're not only for car drivers, but for padestrians as well to know if want to turn in somewhere.

If people were telepathic and could project their thoughts onto other people to tell them their intentions, then signals wouldn't be needed...

I always use them even if I'm the only car on the road.

Exactly, no questions asked. It doesn't look "cool" and it doesn't cost money to use turn signals.

I always use my turn signals.. but i really hate it when they use it like last minute.. like someone stated b4 about the turning into a driveway

one time i was going like 65 on the highway and some loser speeds up in the next lane going like the same speed and just cuts me without even signaling.. causing me to almost swerve off and get into an accident.. i hate those fvckers!!

idk why these ppl even got their liscenses.. stupid fvckers!!

I always use turn signals no matter what. On the freeway, I signal for a long time before merging into an adjacent lane. I signal, pass the car on the lane I intend to merge into, look to make sure I am clear, and finally merge into the lane. SO EASY!!!

Signals should be used no matter what. PERIOD.

What pisses me off the most are the cars that signal once in a while.
They signal to switch one lane then they don't for another switch or turn.
I'd rather deal with someone who doesn't signal at all.

I hate it when people use the turn signal improperly.

For example... you turn on your turn signal, begin entering the turn and then you turn it off.

You're supposed to turn it off after you've completely entered the lane. How the **** is everyone supposed to know you're turning after your signal blinked twice while you're not even 1/2 way into the lane? I hate that ****.

i was pulled over for cutting off a mustang and pulling up to the t/a (both friends of mine) and the police tried to get me for street racing! we were going speed limit and he pulls over the import. so in the end we have our discussion my friends come to where i was pulled over (after he removes his liscense plate cover)and he gets me for not using my turn signal.

use it in everyday driving cause people r slow.

While I advocate the use of turn signals, it sems difficult to use them while holding the cellphone and simultaneously deciding to make a right turn across 3 lanes of traffic from the LEFT TURN LANE. It's hard enough to do this, but lets give cellphone addicts a break.

I think mindreading would be a far safer solution.

BTW, Mercedes and BMW seem to have turnsignals as a costly option, so most customers just don't bother. I can understand that. It's just another inconvenience in a luxury car. Besides, they come with a right-of-way clause in the purchase contract.

Need I say more?

One more thing: The liberal use of turn signals on the freeway will let the SUV in the lane you intend to merge into, know to quickly FLOOR it so you can't. Remember, lane changes are dangerous, so they are only looking out for your safety.

doesnt bother me much unless they cut me off real bad, really not that big of a deal, you cant really trust turn signals anyways because people always leave them on to long i think turn signals should only be used when turning into a parking lot in which case youll be stoping abruptly or when theres heavy traffic its not that hard to just pay attention to whats going on.
