car vin#s help

ok.. say i got a car.. with no vin number cuz its from japan.. how do i go about registering it in the us?? i know tis been done so there has to be a way, any one know?

I think it should be on the papers w/ the car... Now if you don't have papers, you have a different problem.

the type of car it is, isnt needed to answer the question, but if you are interested i am looking at CRX, but its from japan and has no vin number sapposibly.. i need to know how i would go about registering
