What are some ideas you all have to secure our cars from theft? One obvious one i know of is putting a switch on the fuel regulator to just turn it on or off...which is easy in the vic because its right under the seats. What other ideas do you guys have besides the standard alarm setup in a car that is more non traditional to provide security for your car to be there when you go to get in it?!
uhm...only thing I can think of is insurance. If a thief wants your car, they will get it. That or LowJack. Only problem with LowJack is that it doesn't stop the thief from screwing up the car in the meantime.

Get a brake lock. I'm looking into it soon so they have a hard time trying to drive off with it. Alarm doesn't hurt, either. Disconnect the trunk and hood release from inside the car, and tie down the trunk lid with some bike lock wire if you want.
Like I've said before.... ".45 cal for close range, M16 from across the street, and the .50 cal Barrett sniper rifle from the 2nd story window in case they try and run... I love my security system."
PROBLEM SOLVED.

Yes if a thief really wants your car he isd going to get it...but the idea is to make the average thief move on to an easier car. The brake lock works well. Kill switch is another good idea. Car cover with a luggage lock (the kind with the siren when disconnected) helps. Plus common sense...lock the car...keep it in a well lit place if possible. You get the idea.

the auto-lock is definitely one of the better anti-theft devices out there, but... i remember seeing a tool (on here) that can brake one of those in seconds. car alarm & auto-lock are a pretty good combo, and not to mention parking in a well lit/seen area. i'm sure most theives won't want to take the time and hassle of taking the auto-lock off, unless they really want it.
