Neons? Well, I don't know much, but I'm guessing they might be a little more expensive, or less I dunno, but they are by Dodge , they look kinda wierd with their bee-eye headlights, and they just.. look... well it's just not my style, along with a majority of other people, but every car has it's goods and it's bads. And blah blah blah I'm so fricken bored at school and I kinda forgot why I started this

i don't know but..... have u test drived a 2k1 civic? I have driven a couple of neons as rental cars, i thougth they would be ok but they are ---&gt; , i have checked the stats and specs of this car and for some reason on the road they do not live up to their HP and TORQUE, yes i know theres other factors but the car is just a very bad car, its a very rigid car to drive and very uncomfortable with braking and driving,its not smooth at all, anyways thats just my experience, i would pick a 2k1 civic over if the RT anyday, no one should make the mistake of getting a neon, test drive one or even test drive a rental one with millege on it, and you will feel the hard and unpleasent drive of this car

I do not know why your thread got deleted, I did not read it either, but our mods here and owner have a very time consuming and judgmental job, that requires maintaining a certain site identification/personality. No, there may not have been nothing wrong with your thread in the aspect of offending someone or otherwise, but that moderator did what they saw fit for whatever reason. Deleting material is nothing personal, it just may not fit in the relm of the site's development and foreseen future....so please do not take it personal. We've all got a job to do and if we tried to please an individual's needs,. then the site would never maintain order.....Peace![IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

they dont live their HP and TQ?... ACR's run high 15' stock, right up with SI's (maybe SI's r a little faster), with a few bolt-ons you can hit high 14's on neon, stock longblock), thats 145-147 hp and 135-140tq at the wheels.

neon's come in diferent trims , so who knows what you drived, should be a base ATX sohc...nothing special.
Did you know that R/T's and ACR's come with Konis asjustable struts, stock? they can outhandle a 2k1 anyday and twice on monday

screaminDOHC and rickdohc: I didn't get a chance to read your posts or thread so I can't comment on that. But from what I have read you seem to be level headed (other then the vary first post of this thread [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG]) inteligent people looking for a discussion about cars. Not trashing our civics.

I can't count how many times I've read civic owners posts that take little jabs or just plain trash the neon. I especially like the posts that go like this "Stop trashing our civics because your neon sucks." --translation-- stop trashing our car so we can trash yours [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/IMG]

We all chose our cars for different reasons, why not stop bickering and enjoy them.

Guys, i am not sure whod deleted threads from yesterday but i can assure you that it wasn't because of anything you guys said specifically. I am assuming it was because of some of the more immature members of this site. I, personally, though the neon thread was a refreshing change. It's just that some peopel can't take critisism that well. Hey, you throw down the kind of money you do on a car and who wants to here this car is superior in this way and this one is inferior than that. Hey, i don't mind but to each his own. Once again, I would like to personally apologize for what happened and i still hope you guy have constructive critisisms to add and take away from that will help this site grow in a positive direction.
