Custom 7thgencivic Body Work..

I am currently sponsored by a local shop..
the Shop owner wants to start doing some really nice custom work for our 7thgens..

In the works:
Custom Type R spoiler.. its the RSX type R spoiler and it has a perfect fit... the holes even match up to our factory spoiler holes so no modifications are necessary... (finished)

Pearled altezza lights and projectors... red, blue, white, silver, gunmetal, gold.. custom pearl clear paint.. (actually looks really good).. (finished)

Custom Wide body.. for the rear panel and front fenders.. (few more months to perfect it.)

ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS IDEAS.. I'm trying to help brainstorm up more ideas and what better place to get it from this site..

thanks

yeah tsx lights would look good too.. but the tsx rear looks a lot wider then the 7thgen... you might have to customize the rear lights to make em fit nicer and not too big..

Neon tails sounds good and maybe i'll do half the rear neon and the other half do a sunfire conversion with dodge caravan headlights.. ahahahahahaha jj

Well the custom made RSX type R spoiler fits on both.. but looks best on the coupe i'll post up pics this weekend...
the tail lights he does for both.. and headlight projectors too... the outsides are painted with clear pearl paint... looks like a light tint but when the sun reflects on the tail lights it looks really good... i'll try to post pics tonight..

Scotteh - Post some suggestions and i can see what we can do.. pimp that sedan..!

yeah not sure yet what i wanna do.. my buddy did my tails today... looks pretty slick.. its just blk chorme altezzas.. but i didnt' like how they looked so he did some custom work on them and now they have a custom tint of a mix of white and pearl etc... you can still see the red so doubt its illegal (unless a cop is having a bad day) but it matches my rims and decal perfectly.. i'lll post up pics tomorrow..

instead of a neon tail go LED, there is a custom truck around here who has 2 sections of LEDs prolly 10-15 on each side, and thats all he has for brake/turn signals, im sure its illegal, but looks damn cool

I like the idea of the type r wing. However the thought of more COOL CUSTOM tail lights doesn't thrill me at all.

yeah the type R spoiler is pretty sweet... it actually looks better on the 7thgen then on the rsx.. first it looks like our trunks sit lower.. so the spoiler isn't as high.. and from the side view it also looks nice because the way it attatches to the hood matches the side view of the tail light (if that makes any sense... triangle shape)...
also the type R wing looks like it was made for a boxy car... our 7thgens are boxier then the rsx.. for sure

If I was to answer which rear shot looked better, I'd lean towards your buddies car on the left. Maybe those pearled tails are great in person, but in my opinion it does not flow with your car. The spoiler, though big, flows nice with the car (better from other angles).

Apart from that clash, the car looks great. Two things I'd say to possibly do would be to finish the shaved trunk by removing the trunk-key. Secondly would be to ditch the front windshield decals (sorry, but they are slightly over the top for me). The side decals are fine as they flow nicely... just the front distracts too much. Apart from that, nice job - only wish I had a hook-up like that

Also, just to let you know, you didn't remove all the license plates from your pictures (first one has your plates showing).

** I'm far from being a great car person to listen to .. but I like throwing my two cents in **

thanks for the input.. if i keep my civic next year i am shaving the whole trunk.. + the key hole..
i want the trunk clean and license plate moved to the rear bumper...

the front decals.. if i took them off i would not be getting hooked up .. sponsored by 2 companies.. i guess i could get smaller ones on the side.. etc..

the lights do look better in person b/c from the side view it flows with my blk and silver look.. but i can see your point that from the rear the blk and white clash...
thanks for the input.. The spoiler does look high in the pics especially from this angle (especially with me on the ground taking a pic from that angle..) but it is honestly not that high.. and it doesnt' really affect my rear view... just adjust to it..
