User: I'm being asked for a login and password on the laptop you just gave me. What should I do?
TeLLy: put in your user name and password
User: OK....it's not taking it. Says the domain is unavailable
TeLLy: Are you plugged into the network?
User: Yes I am.
TeLLy: OK, remember, your user ID is ***** and your password is *****. Try it again.
User: I KNOW. It's not letting me on.
TeLLy: OK, so you've got a little light on your network card and it says the domain is ****?
User: Yes.
TeLLy: It should work. Have you rebooted?
User: Yes, several times.
TeLLy: OK, well, if you're plugged in to the network a Windows 2000 machine will try to get your profile from the server.
User: Oh you mean the network cable has to be plugged in? Hang on let me do that now.

lol, thats to much, i have never gotten that before, but i have gotten the projector doesnt work, ask them is it pluged in, yes. i go to the clients site, look at the ac cable, and plug it in, thank you $400 just for that

Rep Power: 0 that **** happens to me on a daily basis... most recently was a co-worker couldnt print to one of the networked printers. I go down and check it all out only to see somebody had unplugged the network cable. Freakin retards.

Rep Power: 368 So I get a call today - apparently the task of refilling the paper tray ABOVE the feeder was too much for some office staffer to handle, so (s)he stuck it BELOW the feeder tray. When the feeder moved down it got stuck there. I had to yank with considerable force to get the paper out. I wonder this now - if the tray moves down when you open the door to the printer bin, that person must have very quickly thrown the paper down there so it could be "clamped" by the descending feeder. Moron.
