The right thing to do IMO would have been to call the police, file a report, and have him punished via fine or time. The latter sentence would be highly unlikely.
But in the heat of the moment, people do crazy things. I'm not gonna come out and say "I woulda stopped and kicked the crap out of him", but chances are if one guy is crazy enough to grab someone by the neck for no good reason, then one day he's gonna grab the neck of a person crazier than he. Then hilarity would ensue.

Rep Power: 0 I'm surprised this old guy didn't try and get speed bumps in the area and have police patrolling the area as well. If one person petitions for speed bumps or a police presence in neighborhood in Raleigh it is done. Some of the people in this area really get into slowing people down too. The soccer moms would usually wait for either a fast car or one that looked like it was going fast to go down a road, as that car comes back, the soccer moms block the road with their minivans. Oh but that's not all, as the car approaches a blockade, another one forms behind the "speeder" blocking him/her in. Stay at home people have way too much time on their hands.

i believe it's like that in raleigh, cause around where i live, i can't even drive over the speed bumps at a 45 without scraping, i have to drive a freakin maze to get to my house without ripping off my bumper.

Rep Power: 0 that **** happened to me.. guy was in the middle of the road tryin to start ****.... there was a stop sign, i didnt stop at that stop sign and he movd outta the way... i think my girl said he got back in his car and tryd to follo me but i turned off my lights and was gone..... I would of put it in reverse and ran over his foot or something crazy... prolly just floored it and hope he moves
