aight... another question... is an amp absolutely necessary to power your sub and deck? or can you live without one if you don;t play your music loud?

you can still connect it, but you won't hear ur sub..or it'll be so quiet that you wish you had an amp...what kind of sub do you have? because if your just trying to go the cheapest way, just bare minimum stuff..find a second hand one for cheap, or go to xs cargo and pick up a jenson amp..i heard they're really cheap...

if your putting a sub, you have to add and amp, cause where would you connect your sub speakers to?...your deck(i've never heard of anyone doing that).

Those Jensen amps are great. For $60 you can get 300w model. Terrible distortion at high gain, but for pumping out the bass from your FM station in rush-hour traffic, they're wicked.
