funny that rev hard is working on a turbo kit for it cuz my wife wants one. I think it would be a great camping vehicle in the 4x4 trim but its a little underpowered. I know the k24 has potential but i didnt think that anyone would develope forced induction for the element. Anyways, i might be in the market for the element soon now, after my rsx of course

Damn, and to think I was so close to buying an Element when I worked for a Honda dealer. I'd still buy one..
....and I do believe the side panels that were once plastic looking are still there, just painted over.

i dont think its actually dumb. Its a very versatile vehicle and does fairly well in the woods with the rt4wd trim. If your a camper, its a pretty neat little SUV with loads of room for 4. If you "live life a quarter mile at a time", then yes, it might be dumb to you. And as long as that turbo provides some more low end torque....I think its quite a nice addition. Not every f/i application is for racing.
