more torque, shorter ratios.... will make the car faster even if HP is RATED the same.... if not, it will atleast seem faster b/c I read somewhere that the tC revs quick.... didnt know Camry engines can rev fast?

i just rode in it last night, and its awesome! the roof is made of glass, so you pretty much have a sunroof for the whole roof...its kind of a targa top but not really. the interior is very well done. everything is well laid out and looks awesome! the ride is great also. A LOT of room in the back seat...and i dont mean for a coupe, i mean a lot of room period. its a very comfortable car. as far as driving it, it seemed more powerful than the civic, but thats a given. the girl wasnt pushing it, we just drove to get dinner. the car is clean!
and it looks nice and mean at night with its headlights turned on.

Well Guys my roomate got one a week or so ago and We got to do some racing last night about 5-6 races and When We would launch about the same he never pulled more than one car length. I know He is not pushing the car as hard as he could cause hes sttill getting used to it. Plus its only got 1500 miles on it!

I would be surprized if it could be a civic SI. Talking about the egg.
I test drove the TC and it isnt all that fast.......
Personally I say go for the Srt-4 if you want performance.
Scion if your the cruiser guy.
Me personally? Im keeping my vic and going to slowly but surely make it enter 14sec quarter mile times.
I got waay to much money in my civic to let it go
If I had a great deal though i pass it up for an srt-4
I almost got one and had to really sit down to think what I want guys. In the end my vic wins.

Wait for 3 years...never ever ever buy the first or second year of ANY car. They are still working out bugs and make improvements, the 3rd year of production usually has all the kinks worked out. Then they start messing with them in the 4th or 5th year and then go to a "re-design". Just my experience...and it is all manufacturers.
what about the mazda3, you can get 160hp, 16" rims, 4 wheel discs, and much better looks and handling for around 17grand. If it had been out in 2002 when i got my civic, i know i would have gotten the mazda3, more power, better looks, and better handling for about the same money.

I saw a kid driving one yesterday on the highway......
He had the seat leaned back like he had Lexus SC430 or some ****.....
really funny, car is cool, I would still want a Honda tho.
I have a bias
