It all depends...what brand of alarm is it? Do you have an auto or a manual trans?

For an average brand with an auto that doesn't sound too bad with installation...

Remeber most of these type of shops bill by the hour...

Yeah, it all depends on who makes it. If its made by "toms security" thats being run out of his garage down the street, your prolly getting screwed. If its a good system, like clifford, alpine or other, It prolly a good price.

Exactly. I paid $300 for my Compustar and $250 to get it installed. It all depends on the quality of the Alarm and install.

it depends on who made the alarm but if a good brand than that isn't a bad price.

I was quoted $499 to install a Code Alarm (surestart LX) that has remote start including the immobilizer bypass and life time warranty and lifetime warrantied tint.

However, when it came time to pay he only charged me $420... he noticed the error after he swiped the Credit card. He said would jsut leave it as it was if I just hooked him up w/ a little tip... so I did. I've been verry happy w/ the alarm and tint too.

top of the line alarm costs about 300 to 500 USD. usually, when you purchased the alarm from the dealer, they will install it for you for free.
