iroc camaro?
hahaha this is soo funny

but this guy is a domestic ricer
heres what he claims to have
87 iroc camaro(can someone find info on this one?) i belive its just ground effects and wheels... similar to the Honda FP civic
which has either a 2.5L 4cyl, 2.8L v6, or a 5.0L v8
with 88, 135, 155 or 190hp depending on which version he has
he says he has 270hp...
taken it up to 90, and can outrun any cop car on the road
radar bounces off his shiny car
the stealth bomber is shiney
he intimidates police officers
first of all.. 270hp isnt that much..., 90 isnt that fast, the bomber isnt shiney, and they dont use radar anymore... its lasers.. and if u find yourself on the recieving end of a laser.. ur screwed

you say '270 hp isn't that much', it's actually not about high horsepower numbers, you have to factor in a lot more other things than that. There's a x-pound (forget the exact weight, but super light) Civic in San Jose that only dyno'd at 200 some hp, but is running high 12s and has the slips to prove it. Not only slips, but people know him at the track. '90 isnt that fast', also, no, it isnt that fast, but what CAN BE FAST is how long it takes you to get to 90, that can be your win...or your downfall.
If you're going to flame somebody, make sure you dont leave yourself open to get flamed, cause it just makes you look stupid instead of the person you're tyring to flame

Rep Power: 329 My ex girlfriend had an 88 IROC Z28 camaro...5.7 liter, it has 230HP@4400 RPM, and 330 ft lbs of torq at 3200 RPM...it hauled *** up to 100, we never went faster though because of broken engine mounts....but those things are pretty fast.

Rep Power: 0 i'm pretty sure a stock iroc (tuned port injected) 305 or 350 5-speed is very capable of low 14's high 13's stock... i could be wrong but before the civic i owned a 91' so i have a little knowledge but not 100% sure on that number....

Rep Power: 0 If the IROC's are like the Trans Am's of the year, then you could only get the 350 in a 4 speed Auto, and the 305 was the only engine option with a 5 speed manual... if memory serves me correctly.
And does anyone remember if the 5speed option was available on the GTA?

Rep Power: 0 the 350 only can with a 4spd auto in that year, 305 had manual and auto i believe. those irocs are a great base to start biulding a fast street/strip car. i have one and its a great car. looks decent, handles decent considering when it was biult and u can beet how easy it is to get power out of a small block v8. the only real shitty part about the cars is the 700r4 tranny is pretty week.
