Integras(r's & gsr's) have amazing top speeds, my friend with a GSR raced my friends Evo and he kept up with him pretty good. and the evo is pretty modified. yes the evo did win but the gsr held its own

You can easily upgrade an Evo, just like it's DSM siblings. Boost controller, new turbo, new intercooler, etc., etc. Tons of tuners doing it.

I don't know much abut the ITR, but if it can beat an Evo (stock vs. stock), I'll eat my keyboard. Trackpad included.

The Evo is a wickedly fast car. It's not just the peak HP, it also has a ton of torque spread over a wide powerband. When the boost comes on (early), it feels like you've been rear-ended by a freight train.

hmm, the itr did had the advantage with the mods it had. but thats still pretty impressive for an itr running against the evo like that.

if an usdm itr can beat the evo stock, ill go nuts

that was a nice race but i wanna see a round 2 and along with more vids

Hmmmm. I test drove an evo and they are crazy fast. And the one I drove wasnt even broken in yet! And yes you can def upgrade an evo. Did any one read that evo shootout i think in import tuner. One of em had like 500hp and still had room for improvement! So yes they can be upgraded and I dont see why they couldent be. And it is AWD

Depends on the year...

97 & 98s ran mid to high 14s.

00 & 01s ran mid to low 14s.

Apparently, the R is not stock. It's not hard to get an R to break 13s with bolt ons.

just remember that they were rolling from 40 mph......yes the type-r kept up and passed eventually......but.....from a deat stop the itrwould have no chance. 4 wheel drive hook up on the things is sick. I rode in a modified (turboed) Integra LS against a WRX and they got us by a car length or so from the line but at the 1/4 we caught up to them and beat them by a hood. Just remember that....rolling starts you can keep up easier u have the momentum there.
