Lightbulb 02CIVICLX stops at 118MPH HELP!!!

Hey fellow civics hEhE.. I have a 2002 CIVIC LX.. I cant past 118MPH.. its automatic but, I was wondering are there any options to take out the govenor out with out disconnecting the speed sensor??Plz help.//.

I don't believe Jet removes the rev limiter (speed governor), they simply remap the fuel curves and allow it to run a little stronger (a mod. which I believe also necessitates the use of Premium gas in our Civics).

No and no. Jetchip doesn't do it, and the HKS thing doesn't work on our cars, either.

mine's been up to 119-120. my friend took a pic, but we hit a damn bump and all you can see is the F'n bottom of the gauges.. grr. we have a pic of 114 or so though. gotta go try it again this weekend. :P
