What makes the signal light clicky sound?
When you turn your signal light on, what makes the noise?
Tell me what you don't like about yourself....

It's the little box under your dash at your feet. I know because that's the resistor clicking. You have to use your ears to figure out which box is the right one to pull so you can replace it with a hyperblinker like I did on my car.
Whatever it is, it's in that box.

Well today at the light when I turned down my music and heard my signal light clicking, I wondered what did it.
Yes, I'd heard it before. I don't ALWAYS have loud music. I'd just never thought to ask before.
Nice sig with the 0's in the license plate.

Its called a relay. bascally its a coil and a magnet, when the coil has electricity it becomes an electron magnent and attratcs the "actual" magnet. when they connect it completes the circut for the blinker, making it turn on, when power going through the coil is turned off, the magnet and coil separate and break the circut, causing the blinker to turn off. the clicking you hear is the magnet and coil banging against eachother.
guys,
i think, the hyperblinker's quite cool..
however, i just like the look of it....

^^ you would need to replace the magnate with a soft yet conductive material. No clue on what that would be. It actually would kill the click clock noise all together. Although you might end up being one of those people driving for miles on the highway with thier blinker on.
