I dunno if it's photochopped or if it's just *THAT* lame...
Both cars, the beetle and the focus, are rather un-appealing... Put them together and the result is a HIDEOUS apparation on 4 wheels.
Just proof that "new" and "different" can sometimes suck donkey anatomy.

I hate american cars. plain and simple, they suck. and ford just proved it once more that they are the worst.
Then again what is chevy doing? their american revolution should be aimed at rednecks not normal people who will now only buy japanese cars cause they don't suck like american ones.

Their "American Revolution" is nothing but smoke-up-the-***. They'll keep making the same ol' crappy mechanics to put under their new bodys. When was the last time you heard of GM's "marvel" EcoTech engine running for 100,000 stock? Modified with GM parts? Even with a sedate driver?
American cars suck. You *shouldn't* have to look farther than the ungangly ford Thunderbird. Looks like the same designer got his paws on the peice of trash pictured in post #1.

The Honda factories are Japan-spec in their processes and equipment,and most of the car is built by machines.
Japanese cars are inherrently better from the drawing-board stage all the way forward.
American V-8's have 2 or 3 bolt mains.
Japanese V-8's have 5 bolt mains.
The example is not directly applicable to the debate, but the spirit of it is. You almost never see a mega-horsepower Japanese V-8 with a bent crank. You will see lots of American mega-horse V-8's with either a bent crank or 5 bolt mains.
Also the Japanese are light-years ahead of the American car manufacturers in terms of metalurgy; That accounts for a lot.

Think it's more aimed towards the European markets. Smaller roadways, mean smaller cars. Appanrently , they like their Fords over in Europe. Since the Focus is on the top selling list over there.
Me, I'd rather take the VW or other european cars over there. Their designs are way better.
