Interesting system though. What a great marketing ploy. Put together an expensive supposedly technologically advanced system that "may or may not increase HP". I need to get into that business. Kinda like those Tornado fans for your intake. "Increases combustion efficiency by spinning the air entering the engine" yeah, whatever. Would be interesting to see the dynos on this system though.

hehe, I wasn't even talking about the jets...I was referring to the whole system. Any Engineers on here want to prove/disprove the viability of this system?

um...i just read the site...i dunno if i'm getting msg across, but i think its a system to screw up the competition. The idea is to get in front of your opponent in the launch, and eject this **** out the side or back of your car in front of your opponent, and when their intake sux up this stuff, it won't be 02 ... i'm going to look into this... i've never heard of CO2 reacting with O2. They use the word "displace" on the site which is meaningles... i think this is bull ****. That's playing dirty. Spraying CO2 into your opponents car's way.
quote from their site:
"When released anywhere near the air inlet of a car, it will displace the oxygen being drawn in by the air intake, thereby slowing the car down. This is why it is important to get the leftover CO2 as far away from the engine compartment of your car as possible.
...
...
With a range of up to 20 feet, the CO2 is then ingested into the intake of the unsuspecting racer beside you."

Yeah but roll up to the top and read about the whole system. They are claiming that if you supercool the intake, inject CO2 into the exhaust to create a vaccuum (not sure that would work anyway) they can get you up to 35 HP. The Cheetah valves are another part of the system.

some guy with a wrx with all this upgraded turbo and intercooler and stuff by me has that. he says it basically acts like nitrous but it safer for the engine

The IDEA is sound. CO2 is used to extinguish fires by displacing oxygen.
Of course, Halon would do this much better, without the cold blast of CO2.
BUT.... too many variables with trying to get a nozzle to aim for someone elses intake area. I think it's hit and miss.

The chances are if you use that product to win you cheat on most things anyway. Imo that’s pathetic! However, if the jets could be placed on the rear bumper, that would be a cool idea for a getaway car from the cops.
there is a little science behind what they are claiming but I would have to try it to be sure if it works (I'm doubtful) and I have better things to spend money on then co2 crap for my civic.

this is just like the dei system.. basically any presurized gas when released will become cold.. and so if presurized co2 is shot through a small bulb, and cools the air like an intercooler therfore making a denser charge
