i don't know if this has ever been brought up here, but just a thought:

my dad has those glasses that get darker if you step outside and it's sunny, and turn clear when then sun goes down or you go indoors...

but my question is, does anyone know if they have ever tried to do these to automotive windows? my dad said his glasses were expensive, so i'm probably guessing whole windows would be pretty $$$. just a thought because they'll only get dark if the suns out, and when it's dark at night you don't have to worry about being able to see out of your car.
