Rep Power: 0 With the Si, you get a unique shifter, better front seat, more rommy rear seat, and the exterior updated for 2004 with 16 inch wheels and projector headlamps, plus available FP package. The RSX gives you one more year of warranty. I'd go for the Si.

Rep Power: 266 RSX.... the SI does look like an egg. However, i think there is probably more performance for the SI then the RSX. I would still pick the RSX. My 1st choice would be the engine swap. I like the bodykits for the EM2 way better than the RSX and SI, and its cheaper only 7-8k. Congradulations on the new car.

Rep Power: 295 get the SI with the "action package" makes it look like a type R it will literly scare shitniz out of people. than add either an HKS or Greddy Turbo kit
boosting it to a wooping @ss 260hp
I would only buy the rsx-s for that body style. if your are going to go for a type -s ever screw it and just get a WRX its like 100 thousand times better!
personally I am keeping my civic boosting it with SF so i can clean most peoples clock than getting a used rx-8 later down the road..
I am thinking Mazdaspeed

I like them both. To me it should come down to the test drive - which one is more fun to drive. The Si has the unique look to it - I've actually never been in an RSX but I do love the interior of the Si. I like the idea of getting the top performing civic over the base model of an RSX, but that's just me. When you've test driven both vehicles decide which one you feel like driving more - that should be the deciding point

also, is it just me, or do u guys not like the lower models of cars... like i used to like WRX's, but with the StI out, its like the WRX is a second rate car.. and like the type S, makes the base rsx look second rate. maybe its just that i want the best of everything. i know the wrx and rsx are good cars, and better then 7thgens (non si)... what are ur guys thought bout that?

Rep Power: 279 I personally save up some $$$ and go RSX-S . I wouldn't get neither Si or base RSX at all.(If you wanna enjoy some speed, you'll regret getting one of those later)

Rep Power: 0 500 down????? are you kidding me. I would really think twice about getting a new car. I would get the rsx because i like the looks better, but you can def get better deals on price with the si.

and as far as "there are so many rsx's out there", I don't know why people bring that up on a civic site. Everyone has a civic, and it doesn't seem to deter people on this site.
but it does look like an egg. I would go with the rsx. But since you actually like the look of the si, I would take the si. It will be cheaper.
