can anyone answer this?

hey everyone i just had a little question, my friend just got an 04 civic ex (i have an 03 ex) and he was commin from a wrx that was totalled by his friend and now hes upset my car will be able to beat him cause i have mods and he is stock, it feels like its been so long since i was stock so i remember the difference the mods made, hes just wondering if its worth the money for him to hook up his car (power and speed wise), hes definately doin suspension cause he likes the handling from his wrx and i definately noticed a difference from strut bars and under brace and other stuff but has anyone with an intake, header, and exhaust raced a stock civic? and what was the outcome, was it just a win by a bumper or by a car length or two, this will help me know if all the money i put into my car made much of a change and it'll also help him know if he should modify his car or if its not really worth it, thanx everyone who answers

Tell him that he can easily tune the civic to out turn a WRX (500 LB difference ) out run one..... well that depens on how twisty the road is.

as far as Engine stuff... well I wish I had all the $$ I spent on Intake, exause and headder back so I could spend it on more suspension work

do suspension work, a civic can easily out carve a stock wrx if it is tuned right... screw engine work, the civic is good in low end-low gears

Intake (air filter on a stick), header and exhaust don't do too much. Don't bother with exhaust.

PnP maybe?

Suspension mods are good, makes the car fun to drive in twisties.
