D16 means a "D" series engine that is a "1.6 liter" that was in the 6th gen civics
we have a D17
6th gen SI's had a B16 and Integra's had a B18
RSX's have a K20......meaning "K series" motor that is a 2.0 liter

D17A1 = DX/LX 1.7L SOHC
D17A2 = EX 1.7L SOHC VTEC-E
D17A6 = HX 1.7L SOHC VTEC-E lean-burn
D17A7 = GX 1.7L SOHC
No Problem.

You might get 3 horsepower with a CAI, but thats a maybe.
ok ok, i got it..
from the website..
qoute::
What increase in horsepower should I see from a K&N replacement filter?
We perform dyno (power curve) testing on our products. Our replacement filters typically provide a 2 to 4 percent horsepower increase. Your results will vary depending on your vehicle, driving habits, load on the engine (towing for example), existing air system restriction, and other factors.
let.see.....2 to 4 percent..
if 2 percent in EX engine, means 2.5 horse power..
while 4 percent, 5.08 horse power...
the average, 3.79 horse power...
hehe, that means my car right now got approx. 130 hp, yay!
edit::
what?? using CAI will only gives u 3 horsepower? r u sure?
edit2::
holly sh**, i checked, using CAI will only increase performance from 5 to 8%
and it will costs you 3 to 5 times more from just dropping an air filter...
oh yeah, it also says that it's probably good if u reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes in order for the ECU to adjust the amount of the air flow..
