Engine Work/Turbo etc etc is modded.
Bolt Ons and other stuff like that i don't think count as a "modded" cars there just mods.. IMO
IDK it's weird.
edit: damm i said the word mod so much in my mind it lost meaning

Major engine work and/or FI like Mr.Modify said...Bolt-Ons are just Bolt on IMO
Also taking any cutting tool and cuting into the stock body and anyother stock part is a Modification
Modifying a stock part is a Mod (hence the term Mod/ification), not to be confused with Swapping on a "Bolt-on "

Mods include anything that requires a serious installation such as new camshafts (as I have just installed Hell YES!), Intake Manifolds, and new pistons, not such things as a cat-back exhaust and muffler, or cold air intake (which comparitavley are much easier to install). Joined: Sep 2002

My car is stock engine wise, but exterior has sidemarkers and body kit. I guess it's anything you add to your car that doesn't come stock. Shouldn't matter if it's permanent or not.
Titanium Metallic. You got a problem with that?

I think a modded car is one that has been altered in any way, shape, manner or form. If its got rims, its modded. If its got an exhaust, its modded. If its got a K20A2 swap, its modded. Doesnt matter, its not stock so its modded.
Okay look...any bolt on, DIY or ICE even that you put in your car are modifications, thus they are MODDED.
However, engine swaps, turbo, engine honing, ECU tuning, headwork, and the like I would consider tuning. Thus, the difference of a TUNED and a simply MODDED car.

If the car is any different from the time you bought it from the dealer, its not stock anymore. Yes wheels count too. I got an alignment done and they charged me 20+ bucks more only because I altered the stock specifications of the car or some **** like that.

So leaving a slurpee in the cupholder and an air freshener on your AC vents probably voids ur warranty... because you didn't buy the car stock with those items in it.
^^ ha ha ha, your so clever. i agree with nookiemonster anything that you add or replace on the car should be considered a modified car, but if you really go the full 9 yards with FI or engine swap or a lot of engine work then it would be considered a tuned car.

So I guess nobody's car is stock if anything not stock is modded.
The simplest thing, headlight bulb, change from stock Sylvannia 9003-LL bulb to a Sylvannia SilverStar 9003-ST is a mod......
Time is due for a new alternator belt but you don't want to buy an OEM one cuz very expensive, then it's a mod.....
Firestone FR690 sucks, and you get a whatever new tire that's a mod.....
You know stock probably uses A brand of gasoline when they deliver, and you use a B brand of gasoline, that's a mod.....
You change windshield wiper bland to Borsch, that's a mod.....
You use Mobile1 5W30 instead of Honda 5W20 that's a mod......
Your battery dead, and get a new one from Walmart......mod.......
A new non-Honda brake pad/shoe.....mod.....
A shiny tire valve cover from Discount Tires......mod.....
Any small bulbs not made by Sylvannia with exact specification....mod.....
Windows tinted.....mod.......
So now, as long as I see, if the car is modded, it's not stock. But the converse is not true.
