yea its every 5 years, so the next time they release a new body will be in 2007 since they just released this last body in 02

You mean 2006. 01 02 03 04 05 is five years. The 2005 Si will probably still be the hatch, then if we're lucky we'll get a coupe si on the next bodystyle in 2006.

With the exception of the Del Sol, the Si has always stayed with it's generation. The current Si is a 7th gen based car, so it should also change with the upcoming redesign.
The 5thgen Si hatch did not carry over after '95 and the 6thgen coupe Si didn't either. So there's no reason to believe that they'll hang on to the 7thgen hatch after 2005.

The mini-minivan is done after 04... Honda's already announced that, it sold like ****. I'm guessing there will just be a dead year for 05 then the Si is supposed to come out as a re-styled Coupe when the 8th gen comes out.

Well, Honda didn't really help the Si much... The styling wasn't very nice (that's subjective so don't bash) and the features that people were expecting just weren't there....

I'm just glad that they plan on redesigning the thing because the other car-makers are already way ahead in the sporty category in similar prices...

As long as we get at least 160hp in our coupes...I'm happy. Probably never gonna happen

RSX should have been a Si; it's too cheap for a luxury brand. the current Si is terrible. What was Honda thinking? At least they should have asked us the consumers.
