car accident question

car accident question

Today after church i was in my car ready to back out. Some SUV rolls by, then i start to roll back, i am halfway backed out, and i stop for a car coming from the left side. then outta no where the SUV backs up from the right side and swipes my bumper. we exchanged insurance info and all, but she doesnt know if its her fault or not, i was telling her it was. can anyone confirm?



im working on drawing it up now and ill post the pics if yall need a visual.

It SHOULD be, but typically in parking lots, and private drives, you have to go with your own insurances. Mainly because the cops won't go into them to determine who was at fault because they're private property.

the cop will probably jus say he can't do anything since it was on private property like nookie monster already mentioned.....i know cuz it happened to my bro a few years ago

This happened to me at Wal-Mart once. Just go to your insurance and tell them it was a hit and run. But if you don't want it to be a claim on your record, then just swallow the costs of repair.

if it's jus the bumper....might as well jus leave it alone or get it repainted with your own money cuz it ain't worth telling insurance about such small damage
