In all fairness Nitrous ready will mean a built block.

Built blocks without F/I are slow as *****.

I own a 2.3liter Focus. I have recently installed: Cold Air Intake, 65mm Throttle Body, Under drive Crank Pully, Over drive water pump pully, 4-1 Race header, 2.5" Flex Pipe, and 2.5" Borla Flex Pipe back exhaust. I went from 121.3 fwhp and 132.2 fwtq bone stock to 153.7 fwhp and 153.9 fwtq. Max HP at 5800rpms, Max Tq at 4150rpms. As soon as the Cam gears get installed I expect another 6-8whp and 5-7wtq. The engine responds brilliantly to bolt ons, and will undoubtedly be a rocket when I finally get some F/I goin.

Thats pretty cool

So from the read according to them the 'streets' say they would sell a N20 ready focus better than a turbocharged/supercharged one. plus im sure the price tag wouldve been a huge difference

I'll bet that car can outhandle almost anything on the road, the Focus chasis is most venerable.

I have the FK 35-40 Suspension kit which lowered it about 1.8". Between that and the 215-45-17's I'm running, I can carve the Nor*Cal mountain roads with the best of em. Even stock, the suspension is AutoX worthy. By eliminating the body roll and asshighedness of the stock foci, one becomes a serious contender.

i think that wing is hideous. However im willing to somewhat look past it because of its nice torque numbers. Sure its got 150 hp. the Si has 160 but how much torque does the si have? def. not 150. im not hating on the SI cuz i Love it, but im not gonna bash this car cuz its a Ford either. I respect any car no matter what make it is domestic or import, Ford, Honda. As long as it is tuned properly for whatever application the owner decides to use it for performance wise. Now if its a ugly *** show car now that i cant stand...

The numbers I posted last night are at the wheel numbers. The focus has a 15% loss in the drivetrain, so if you add that back in then you have the approximate crank numbers (what manufactures claim)
