that driver must have some quick hands! but i'm sure thats gotta put some kinda flatspots on the tires.
Maybe this guy should save his e-brake and use the Mc Donalds tray on his rear tire like the guy in the other vid posted today.

, true, true. you cant technically drift civic unless you get RWD or AWD but you can convert a civic to AWD using a CRV setup.I did a power slide in the snow for the first time ever using ebrake and it was ****ing cool...didnt have much control but it was the first time and i just hope it doesnt get addicting

Damn, that guy is calm when he drives. Wouldn't you get around the track faster if you just drove normally though? And the wheels on the civic, are those 12"s?

like someone else said powerslide/drifting........they are all sliding around the track. Sometimes you guys are so damn technical who cares..........think up another name for AWD drifters now. There was a time when people thought that couldn't be done either.
Anyway, cool vid
Anyway, cool vid

Yes, Drifting is the slow way around a track, and no they are 13's (Very common for that chassis to run 13s for racing) and I'm pretty calm when I autocross now.
Racers quote:
If you get use to High slip angles (Drifting), you will also get use to slow lap times.
Dont forget that Drifting isnt about going fast around the track, its about having fun and showing off.

as an american I've gotten used to steering with my left hand, so I'd prefer that over my right. I don't think it matters what side you're on, just as long as you're used to driving it.

hmm... I steer with both hands. 1 hand on the wheel = Prone to over correction of steering imputs = Bad for handling. The only time my right hand comes off the steering wheel when I'm racing is when I shift, then it comes imidiatly back to the wheel. (at 3 and 9) Proper seating position and hand postions are important if you want to get every last bit of performance out of the car.

he is vastly right about that. Only time your hands should be off the wheel is to shift. Why do you think ferrari put there formula 1 pedal shifters near the wheel in the first place. Ahhh yes autocrossing owns....but we all know the best drift cars are the 240sx models for some ungodly reason.
