LX civic's
Can anyone from the site with a LX civic that upgraded with a turbo if there is a difference from 0 to 60,or just 60 to 100. Obviously there must be a quit a bit difference from 60 to 100. Just for the heck of it I;m curious of what u Turbo charged guys have left in the dust. The reson why I'm askin these ?'s are because I'm going to upgrade with a turbo, because my engin sucks.

catalyst has a LX with shitloads more whp than 160 with his turbo, I think it's something in the low 200s; i'm not too sure, and keep in mind, that's with a dyno -- getting some nice cool air running through the FMIC should boost the hp even more. He runs around 13.6 at the track, which isn't bad at all for a SOHC 1.7 liter engine.
sorry if i wrong, but i did see catalyst post that his car made 166whp not sure but maybe stock

and reading his post on his car being dyno'ed he stated "I made 200 ft/lbs at 3,800 rpm" and nowhere did it state how much whp.

You will benefit more from boosting the D17 than swapping a K20. The only way the k20 will be better is if you put another 5 grand on top of it into a all-motor set up or boost it. The K20 is a high reving motor which results in low torque. Only about 140 ft/lbs.
A stock EX at 8psi was dyno'ed at 183 hp and 189 ft/lbs of torque.
