I love my Type-S!!

It's been a couple months now since I picked up my RSX-S. I really love this car.

Yesterday I was on my cellphone as I was just cruising down the highway. As I pass by some cars, I hear a turbo spool up. I look in the rear view and whataya know.. Some kids in a Sealth wanna play. No problem, I finish up my cell phone call as they pass by me. I then dropped down into third gear and right into VTEC. I pulled on that Stealth pretty good.

Bottom line: I smoked em' at a buck thirty.

...and it felt good.

I know the feeling, compared to my old Civic you really have to watch the speedometer, it reaches 100MPH pretty fast!

There is nothing like f**king with some ricers either, especially when you know that you can beat them.

a turbo stealth is running a lot lower time than your rsx...sorry.

they may be heavy, but its still gonna beat your type s

Maybe the stealth is supposed to be faster. I really don't know.

Whatever. Maybe the kid driving was a sissy. Maybe he doesn't know how to shift. Maybe the car was beat to $hit. Anyway, it still felt good to watch him dissapear behind me.

If you think I'm the "make up a story" kind of guy go back and read everyone of my nearly 1000 posts.

it dont matter what car you have sometimes. if you cant drive you are not going to win. the kid in the stealth may be hooked up. but are STOCK Rsx will hold its on if he cant drive his own car

anyone agree ?

Hmm. Theres a big difference between acceleration at 0-60 and 60-100+ I think it's possible with the RSX gear ratios. For example.. you put an evolution 8 up against a type s at the start line, it will eat the type s alive. But once you get up into the triple digits, the rsx will slowly creep up and eventually pass the evo. At least thats what ive read on the evo boards

yes rsx on a rolling start can slowly catch the evo and ending up passing him
