Rep Power: 0 I want to lease for 1 year only.
I sold my car and bought some cheap replacement for temporary use until I move in to an apartment in the city (expensivo as hell). In the mean time, I wanted a nice car to drive around. NOthing being touched on it what so ever. I want it only for one year and I dont want to buy and sell-- too much trouble and time. I was wondering if I can lease a car for only one year? Does anyone have any input on that matter?

Rep Power: 0 In some leases, there really isn't a termination...
I know a person with a 325i lease (not saying they made the best choice) where they can not get out of the lease. They need to sell the car to pay off the lease amount due plus the residual.
Atleast that is what their dealer told them.

Rep Power: 0 You can not many dealerships do it cuz not many do want to do that..but if you can get a local dealer in you're area to do that you can..It's not unheard of but hardly done..Good luck on a nice high payment!

If you're looking to lease a car short term you're better off just taking over someone else's lease that they want to get out of early. it's your cheapest option and you can get some great cars/deals that way. more on that: https://carvoy.com/blog/56-car-lease-takeovers
