Age old topic, and age old debate. Search. but from my personal experience when i had a 2001 Si (EX just in canada). and i raced a 6th gen Si (same badging scheme, still EX), I won by a tad. maybe a car.

Drivers race.

if they are both equal drivers, the 7th gen will win.

obviously, a reason could be the increased displacement in the 7th gen and therefore, more toruqe. however, the 7th gen weighs like 100-200 pounds more (i think), so that might factor in. however, the 7th gen is more aerodynamic (maybe) and stock tires are better (i think) on the 7thgen.

I THINK 7th gen will win.

a 7th gen dx sedan can beat a 95 ex...so i can't see why they can't beat a 6th gen..

Sure it makes a difference... my car is alot louder... and yes... in the way of performance, squat. I just thought I would throw that in there since the title does say "bone stock."
