What happens if you get towed with your parking brake on?

The parking brake locks the rear wheels. Cars are towed with their front wheels up and their rear wheels rolling. So if you get towed with your parking brake on would it destroy the brake or damage the wheels or anything?

they would try and open your car to release the brake. If it's a flatbed then they just drag it onto the bed. If it's not a flatbed..and they can't get in to the car...You would have some nice flat spots on your tires.

The best way to avoid this, DONT get towed, when youre parked, just turn your wheel all the way towards the side walk closest to you... but I'm sure some of you guys know that already

If they tow with the ebrake on it will mess up the tires

If they two on the front tires at least your cars mileage will go into reverse.

But if you have the ebrake and the car in gear or park
they will be force to drag it onto a flat bed or slimjim the door to get it out of gear and undo the parking brake.

You can't drag it with the front wheels on the ground... the front wheels are reponsible for turning the car and if the steering wheel moved the car would start swinging into another lane and that could be a big accident.

no, the mileage won't go in reverese, I actually think it will tack it on as forward miles nowaways with the electronic odometers.

And If your car was in gear while they towed it with the drive wheels down they'd **** up your engine hardcore, since it would be running without oil essentually, and it would probably go past redline since most people leave their car in 1st or reverse, so at 60mph on the freeway they'd blow your engine....
