Do you guys think those "over-sized" hub caps would be tight? You know, the ones that are for a 14'' rim but they look like 16''s.

I think cars look better without hubcaps. if they dont have rims, or alloys of course. Hubcaps are cheesy, esspeccially if they are aftermarket ones.

well if u dont have any rims and is stuck with factory......take those hubcaps off dont try painting them please thats even worse just ride around with steelies till u save up enough for rims

I think it depends on the color of the car. A black civic for example I think looks ok with dark tinted windows, blacked out headlights and smoked tails looks ok without hubscaps. Definitely looks better than WITH the hubcaps. Of course it looks better with black rims than anything else. But a white car with no hubcaps and just black steelies showing through? Blech! That's just nasty. I also don't like white civics with blacked out headlights. What about a white civic with white painted hubcaps? You think that would be ok? I was thinking about doing that. I have white Konig Rated-R 17"s for the rest of the year. Put stocks back on for the winter. I actually paid 10 bux on ebay to get another set of hubcaps just in case I don't like them painted. I'm open to suggestions though. What should I do? Also, if you decide to just take off your hubcaps and show off your black steelies for "style" then you're just stupid. Paint them beeyotches glossy black and you MIGHT be ok.

I just took off my rim and put my stock wheels with winter tires on, I was gonna put the covers on but never got around too it, and now I like the look of just the steelies especially since I have a black car.

i think only those with or who have had rims understand
i got a flat one day and had get someone to take me to my parents house to get a stock wheel because my car being lowered the spare wasn't going to do **** for me
and i rode around wit my car( 3 rims, 1 hubless wheel) for like 2 weeks until my new tire came in
why replace one whne you might as well do all for

that was my reason
and then the time i went to the track
i admit i got lazy and didn't put the front rims back on for a week caus e after being out inthat heat all day who the **** wants to jack the car back up and put the other wheels back on???

call me lazy but i callit being tired

Yea i USED to hate the no hubcap look but after getting rims and having to change rims to steelies to rims thru the season I understand why people are too lazy to put on hubcaps

fo reals.........puttin on a stock honda hubcap is hell.....besides using the stellie isnt all that bad.........i think it looks better then having stupid hubcaps

How do you figure it's hell to put on a stock hubcap? The lugnut holds the hubcap on...so if you have to take off the lugnuts to change to your stock steelies, you just slip the hubcap on before putting the lugnuts on. What's that? An extra 3 seconds of work?
