NSX: Honda's going Turbo?
There's been a lot of talk about the HSC concept and the NSX... I just came upon this. I searched to see if it was posted before, but it wasn't. And for the lazy, 300kW = 408HP and 300km/h is 187mph.

For some reason, I believe it!
There really isn't much that Honda could do to the current car without modifying the engine. Everything else about the car is very well tuned. If they do that Honda's super car would deserve a lot more respect.

I dont mean to start rumors, but I remember hearing a couple of months ago that honda was testing an awd transmission on the current nsx but it never made it out of the doors of Honda R&D because it was too expensive to produce.
I was also told that they had two models with the awd system are now just thrown into storage like everything else......
Again, this is just rumors that I have heard, so take for all its worth..........

Autoweek said it would be NA.
"This is not a volume car, so it has be aimed at the global market," Fukui said.
The replacement for the nearly $90,000 vehicle is part of Honda's move to shore up the Acura brand. The automaker also will update the Acura RL, due out next fall, by dropping front-wheel drive.
-From Autoweek.
That means that it might (most likely will) go up in price and will be very rare.
It also means that Honda will really try hard to be a serious competitor in the luxery market.

"recent issues" doesn't mean its the latest one..this is the next NSX with a 3.5L its the HSC concept out of tokyo motor show this year

estimated horsepower 300....but honda is probably gonna be tight lipped about this car until its release like the STI #s were upped to make the competion think its less. So I'm thinking it'll probably be in the 350-400 range.
and here are links to the NSX-T thats been released in the US already
1995 http://www.supercars.net/cars/1995@$Acura@$NSX-Tg.html
1997 http://www.supercars.net/cars/1997@$Acura@$NSX-Tg.html
so Honda already released the NSX-T in America..and guess what...it didn't have no turbo
and here is a edmunds thing on NSX-T
http://pda.edmunds.com/used/1995/acu.../overview.html
"Acura offers an open-top version of the NSX, called the NSX-T. The "T" stands for targa (removable) top. Other than the pop-top, the NSX-T is identical to the standard NSX. "
