Crazy Porsche gauges

I think it looks crowded. Also, look at the speedometer, it would be hard to find numbers like 30mph because it goes to to 175mph over about 175 degrees of motion. See what I mean?

Also, look at the auction, what are "turbo look wheels?" Wheels from a turbo model?

The one under the speedo tells the mileage and the one under the tach tells the speed digitaly. The needle on the speedo is just there to be pretty.

Yeah I think that's right. Look at tihs:

That's cool, that way you only have to look at the tach really.

That is actually the name of the style in the Porsche catalog. Its an accessory set of wheels. They resemble the 996 Turbo wheels, but they're not as wide.

If I had to guess... the Oil pressure is probably in kg/cm^2

I like having the Tach in the center, good style =) and everything else sorted around the tach.. rather than everything sorted around the spedometer.

I like the cluster, I would like the civic's cluster better if it had a motor that needed a speedo that went to 175 also

Porsche has a bad habbit of putting to much crap in to small of an area... one of the many reasons that I dislike them.

Well considering most cars they sell are non turbo, i think non turbo porches are still important to them. not everyone can afford a 911 Turbo, 911 GT2, and Cayenne Turbo S. I believe those are currently the most expensive porches offered right now (till the Carrera GT comes, but that's limited production, and no turbo right!).

I'm willing to bed that 80% of sales don't involve turbo'd porsches.
