Ok if you shaved your engine mount to install the Hp Header !Beware! I shaved my front engine mount to the header fit, after awhile i decided to sell the header and cat which i did long time ago. Now after couple of months later i decided to buy a new engine mount to replace the one i shaved, so I do the installation today. I get the old engine mount out and to my surprise the inside of the mount (rubber Part) was torn to crap! I mean it was barely connected to the engine mount itself. I mean I could take out the rubber insert! So to all of those who did this to their engine mount please do yourself a favor and do a inspection on it! I mean the engine mount might look fine from the outside but you can't see the inside from the top!
the front engine mounts on civic are prone to breaking due to the transverse mount and the fact that the car is cheap. i have seen a lot of high mileage civics with this problem with owners who beat the sh*t out of their car.
Subarus FTW I do NOT miss my civic

Does this cause a clicking noise when accessories (a/c) turn over (correct terminology) on idle? My mechanic told me, I could have a broken motor mount. Any help would be great
