Warranty gone and it wont come back
I had springs on my car(worst idea ever) and now I put everything back to stock. Somehow, when I was in honda for some random check up on windows or something, they recorded on my vin that I have modified suspension and that the warranty is lost. Now I need to sell and all the shocks are gone. They wont repair it bc there is no warranty even though it is back to ALL OEM. I dont know what to do and I dont have money to buy new or used shocks? Should I write Honda? What should I do?

I would write Honda. . That seems weird. . Granted I don't think that your suspension or any part of it should be covered since you modded it. . But I don't think that should void your entire warranty. . Just any part of it that has to do with suspension. Anyways. . good luck. . If you get any of your warranty back I'm pretty sure it wont include the suspension or anything that could be defective because of it .

When I bought my Civic, the finance manager told me... "you drop it, you void your warranty." So I think they can do that... but hey you never know... write them and see what they say. Good Luck.

Good thing I took my engine mods out when I went to the new dealer here. Only thing they recorded is muffler. But they can only void the warrenty on the modded part.
only suspension/chassis part of the warranty is voided becuase when i had to get a new transmission i took my car how it is.its lowered 2 inches, and i have a cold air intake cat back exhaust and they did not ask me at all about my mods..i got a new tranny and all...covered under warrenty and i did all the modding myself
