act of the devil...
and act of the devil... today was the worst day in my 7thgencivic lifespan...im driving to school and the unthinkable happened...im driving behind an SUV going at normal speed on a commercial street...and as we are approaching an overpass where construction is being done on the highway, this huge rock falls from the overpass and hits the cement floor...the SUV goes right over it cuz its high, but me, with two cars on eitherside of me, i couldn't switch lanes, i go head on with the rock, and my car is lowered so it was bad news bears...i hit the rock and my car jumps up like if it had hydrolics, and the motor pops up and opens my hood, and i hear a loud pop as my car comes to a stop...the rock stayed under the tranny as it popped a hole in it and all the fluid drained out...luckily it didn't hit my $500 exhaust or suspension...so basically my bumper is done, my tranny is done, and my hole motor has been shifted...so i towed the car to the nearest honda dealership (only cuz my insurance is going to cover this), and they will start to fix it...horrible day today, but hopefully they can get my car back to normal...i wish they made a civic SUV, j/k...oh well...i thought i would share this with you all so i can get this off my chest...im about to start punching construction workers in one sec...

I used to, and still do work construction, and did bridges and overpasses like that. A reputable company does have insurance for instances like this. The construction company, it they dont pay, you could probably sue their *** for a good chunk of money. I was working last year, and we had a situation where the guy's windshield and side window broke cuz we were sandblasting, and a rock shattered his windows. I assume the company paid for it, but i never heard anything since. Someone on the job also wasnt paying attention on the job. But the best of luck to you.
