Rep Power: 0 I saw a sedan in real life on top of a trailer on its way to Honda... They're super nice, I don't see why it looks so bad to you guys. I think it has a more up to date look. Our 01-03 headlights look too similar to the whole 96-00 Civic headlights. And the 01-03 2dr tail lights DO look similar to the Ford Focus lights. Its good that I have a sedan, nothing can compare to that...

IMO the new 04 tails aren't worth the money to upgrade.
As far as the focus lights, Ford was first with them. I seriously doubt Honda stole the idea, simply because I don't think Honda gives a $Ht about what Ford is doing with their small cars.
As far as them looking alike, they do. But it's in the overall shape. The most you can say is that they're very similar. The light patterns are completely different, as is the backup light. I like the civic's trunk overall, especially without the integrated 3rd brake light. I will tell you from personal experience that our trunk is much bigger and easier to access than the Focus. The rear seats are easier to get in and out of also.
